Beautiful black women are making us proud on the catwalks. Throughout the years more and more black beauties have made it in the model industry. Even though there has been some racism back in the day, it has gotten better. Now we have had the pleasure to see models like Jourdan Dunn on the cover of Italian Vogue and Tyra Banks on the cover of Sports Illustraded. Change is here and it is fantastic. Here I wanted to go all the way back to the late 60's and show where it all started. Love it, hate it, adore it, mimic it; <strong>Just enjoy</strong>.<br /><br />Here is the first black woman to appear on the cover of a national American magazine; Glamour College. Katit Kironde, though not a model, gave courage to black women. After her came a huge flood of new black models.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9eCs-PwgVHYu6enB1LKTb9H3InDzPWbVMJdIJ-a7bDnTSaG_nAmmJWAOaBzZqLKHfH7Vpr2w4B4y9a5SA1q9Zs5gDIVZ-5mfudCG1sD_XGz55-sDp7CUMW3Q2tdPh8qZEo9tT1wvEXvw/s1600-h/2489097795_4e2952e534_o.jpg"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5329336398661988162" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9eCs-PwgVHYu6enB1LKTb9H3InDzPWbVMJdIJ-a7bDnTSaG_nAmmJWAOaBzZqLKHfH7Vpr2w4B4y9a5SA1q9Zs5gDIVZ-5mfudCG1sD_XGz55-sDp7CUMW3Q2tdPh8qZEo9tT1wvEXvw/s320/2489097795_4e2952e534_o.jpg" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 233px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" /></a> Jolie Jones, the daughter of Quincy Jones, made her appearance on the cover of Mademoiselle.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSGUoafHlfIVffGB6vhrN5iFpZCceVshXk8RAtqsjXhIY31fpS5aw58b-jl5k3pkxGu-y5lrOBCM7Kpm_kqm4TPaDQhf_hqdGPNPabs7boO6owQRKxdSaX3KRQE5vpX9_bTJfIwX_EEbw/s1600-h/copyofscan00298jr.jpg"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5329336245587258114" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSGUoafHlfIVffGB6vhrN5iFpZCceVshXk8RAtqsjXhIY31fpS5aw58b-jl5k3pkxGu-y5lrOBCM7Kpm_kqm4TPaDQhf_hqdGPNPabs7boO6owQRKxdSaX3KRQE5vpX9_bTJfIwX_EEbw/s320/copyofscan00298jr.jpg" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 228px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" /></a> Daphne Maxwell appeared on the cover of Glamour magazine. Black Beauty.

So on Sunday me and my sister decided to do some sports(quite unbelievable). I took the rollerblades and she took the bike, it was hardcore training+mucho fun!! I know what you're all thinking; why did I go rollerskating in a skirt. Well, my answer to that is very simple; I had nothing else. I'm a skirt/dress girl, and as I was cleaning my closet and I had to get rid of the stuff I didn't use anymore so... Also, I wanted to encourage women. You can train and still look good. Remember to have fun when trying to get into beach shape, don't kill yourself.<br /><br />I know I look quite crazy. I'm not that good at rollerskating. But you gotta try everything once:D<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho7aeW1EozzSI3BGhwkq-qObHrXBmvb-VB39F_YPz5nWS13JTuSgX_vfylJvR7gMMOKUq0Newae2IQ3XTjxB9rshyirFf6b5bP3qpefC6QhNF6j5BEMu1APfHzAg__3v0SEA0JvNUS-d8/s1600-h/SDC11160.JPG"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5329314646341334610" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho7aeW1EozzSI3BGhwkq-qObHrXBmvb-VB39F_YPz5nWS13JTuSgX_vfylJvR7gMMOKUq0Newae2IQ3XTjxB9rshyirFf6b5bP3qpefC6QhNF6j5BEMu1APfHzAg__3v0SEA0JvNUS-d8/s320/SDC11160.JPG" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEge6pa5iWVrlzELJrVxo68IGqGKZtkldOYRh01ptBY7YRpwxaTVta3tTerhsQEHmCPGR-wLcdEbpH4QmvGGVPPYxcVH63LXNGvs1JWeHoQ8-ZqLj1W9Xqfw8vlcSbfXKKuJjK8pE2A2hyphenhypheng/s1600-h/SDC11157.JPG"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5329314199345128242" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEge6pa5iWVrlzELJrVxo68IGqGKZtkldOYRh01ptBY7YRpwxaTVta3tTerhsQEHmCPGR-wLcdEbpH4QmvGGVPPYxcVH63LXNGvs1JWeHoQ8-ZqLj1W9Xqfw8vlcSbfXKKuJjK8pE2A2hyphenhypheng/s320/SDC11157.JPG" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" /></a><3<br /><div></div>
